Summary: Sometimes the things we most want to change are the things that we cannot. One young man must learn to accept this.
Summary: Albus Dumbledore sighed. It wasn’t just any old sigh, either. It was a heavy sigh. A sigh sighed by people who had worked a twelve hour shift at a manual labor industry and come home to put their feet up and have a nice, steaming cup of tea. It was that kind of sigh.
Summary: James struggles to make a mark in the Gryffindor Quidditch Team and woo the one girl who is not interested in him, Sirius struggles to throw away the image he's gained as a Black and start over with a new bunch of friends, Remus struggles to hide his 'furry little problem' from the first friends he's had in a long time, and Peter struggles with school work and to keep up with his cool friends. The only thing these boys have in common is their house. Facing the exasperation of their teachers, the enmity of Severus Snape, the ire of Lily Evans and the plottings of Voldemort's followers, the four unlikely friends find it hard to keep afloat, but bear everything with the Marauder spirit - something Remus must remember to do years into the future, as he faces the biggest struggles of his life - coming to terms with his last friend's death, and figuring out what his feelings for Tonks are. But in the end whatever happens shall be fate's will...

Peter Pettigrew wasn't always called Wormtail.
Perhaps, one change led to the other?
Disclaimer: I'm not JK Rowling but I doubt you're surprised by that revelation.
Summary: Now in his seventh year, Remus Lupin is a calm and responsible student. His friends know this and often take advantage, knowing that he never takes it to heart.
But sometimes, just sometimes, Moony longs for revenge, especially when Padfoot takes things one step too far.
But Padfoot is wise to Marauder pranks, so for April Fool's Day this year, Moony enlists the help of four girls who are also champing at the bit to humiliate the 'too damn adorable' Sirius Black.
I am Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff and this is my entry in the April Fool's Day Challenge set in the Great Hall.
Thank you to Alyssa (Harry4lif) and Wendy (Kiley) for their help in beta'ing this tale.
The song featured in this story is Hot Legs by Rod Stewart which was a huge hit in the early part of 1978 and seemed to lend itself very well to Sirius Black!
Disclaimer Sirius and Remus are not mine *sigh* but belong to JK Rowling as do James,Lily and Peter. The Harley-Queens however are my rather fluffy invention.

I am mudbloodproud of Hufflepuff. This is my entry for the Gauntlet.
“You're everywhere and nowhere baby, that's where you're at
Going down a bumpy hillside, in your hippy hat
Flying across the country, and getting fat
Saying everything is groovy, when your tires are flat.”
Platform shoes, purple flares, short skirts and funky tops. The 1970s. Pet Rocks are the big thing. The summers are hot. The bakers’ on strike. Sex, drugs and rock and roll are busting from your living room in black and white. It’s a confusing time to be a teenager, and an even more confusing time to be a teenage witch.
It’s the summer of 76. A summer of water fights, parties, sunburns and ice cream. Every day passes in a half forgotten blur. Cloud nine doesn’t reach your high. The world is your playground!
And then you wake up.
You never thought that you could be a person people look up to. You’ve spent your life messing up and playing somebody else’s part. But it’s time for a change. The year is 1976 and you are a sixth year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
This is your journey. And you’re in for one hell of a ride.
Summary: Marty Price works for The Cause, which involves several campaigns and petitions on a weekly basis. It has become common knowledge within Hogwarts that if you see her coming towards you with a clipboard, you should turn and walk the other way. Or perhaps deny all grasp of the English language. And if this isn’t eccentric enough, there’s also her obsessive written observations of four boys in her year, which will one day make a rather interesting book ...
Remus Lupin, meanwhile, has always been a little different, too. Poor, sweet Remus Lupin is, to the casual observer, the picture of a sensible, hard working student. However, he has three friends who have done more for him than anyone knows and they have done this because of his troubled past, troubled present and troubled future. Why the gloominess? Because Remus Lupin just so happens to be a werewolf.
So what could these two possibly have in common? And how can their stories possibly connect?
