Chapter: E-3 - A Nervous Business

I've truly enjoyed this storyline; Oliver and Hermione together is a rather new idea to me. You developed their relationship nicely...I like the fact that the Contract Law was the nucleus to their circumstances. I may have missed a few important points, though: I presume the Malfoys were behind the Contract idea in the first place...poor Percy being the subject of the Imperious Curse perhaps??? Also...Is it Lucius's vision to rule the Wizarding World and he's laid the foundation for such a move? Forgive me for being thick...I was more intrigued with Hermione and Oliver's storyline. Nicely created, too, their intimate moments. You crafted a lovely, personal moment without being crude or disgustingly bold...good job overall.

I loved your story! I think you write beautifully, and your Oliver is wonderful. My absolute favorite part of this story is your version of the Fred and George- their personas are absolutely perfect. I have always loved them in the HP books and it is so great to see someone expand on them and get them so right. Thanks for a great read!

Chapter: Chapter Eight - Further Back Than In

*sigh* I'm loving this fic. Hermione/Oliver is something I never would have picked but hey I'm writing a Hermione/George so I decided to give this a go :) I'm slowly working my way through and just thought I'd leave a note telling you how much I'm enjoying this.

I've been following this story for goodness knows how long. I gave up on it for a while when there weren't any updates. You should have seen how excited I got when the update emails started coming into my inbox. Work and school had managed to keep me to busy to read, but I finally got the chance, and I am so glad! I loved this story from the first time I read the summary. Thank you so much for posting it. :)

Of course Hermione’s trying to learn to care for a baby from a giant stack of books! I doubt she’d be Hermione if she didn’t. And Oliver’s so sweet about it, too.

I love how she’s so supportive of him, too. “I sort of suggested that he’d better get the Leagues up, because if he didn’t I’d help you with your campaigning – and I’m a much bigger nuisance.” Quite true!

And I love that she’s Head of Magical Games and Sports! It’s so contrary, it’s perfect. “I don’t know why these boys seem to think they can live off of nothing but junk – and the lifestyles they lead! - but I’m going to make sure that they start living properly, and I can’t even get into the other changes that need addressing…”

But you know, if anyone could whip Britain into having a world-class Quidditch team in a single season, it’d be Hermione Wood. How could she not be exactly right for the job? “And I think I’m going to officially re-name it the Wonky Faint.”

Again, thank you for these epilogues. They may not be strictly necessary, but they're always a pleasure to read. I'm sure the rest of your audience will agree that this is such a sweet little vignette. It sort of makes you appreciate the rest of the story, having short moments of domestic bliss after you've dragged everyone through the ringer (in a good way) throughout the rest of the story. Thanks for indulging us :)

This chapter left me smiling, the best way to leave a story. Oliver and Hermione are just so adorable! Hermione becoming the Head of Magical Games and Sports was so great, especially as it makes her Oliver's boss! Cheers and thanks for sharing your story!

how can you say this is the real end of the story when YOU JUST OPENED IT UP FOR A SEQUEL???? I mean, you layed out the battle lines for the future and everything! what on earth is going to happen in the world of politics (and the world of health) next? what will oliver, fred, and george say when they next meet percy? oh you had BETTER write more...
and if you don't I'll forgive you of course, I'll just be really sad.

What an intelligent, well-written story. "Well-done" is an understatement. I almost forgot I was reading fanfic for a second. :-) I can't wait to read whichever story you write next.

I do so love the velvet menace of a well-written Malfoy *sigh*

Congratulations on ending the story. It's a mighty bed of laurels to rest on! I have to agree that this chapter does provide a fitting end to the story, everything's tied up nicely, and there's also the hint that life goes on (to adventures that may not be bigger or better, but will at least be different). Candy-coated happily ever afters just grate sometimes, so I'm well pleased with an Obliviately ever after. lol Of course, I'd never say no to a nice dose of fluff, either... and it will undoubtedly be some high-quality fluff.

It's been a long, but thoroughly enjoyable journey! Thanks for sharing your divine imagination with us mere mortals :)

I must admit... I've been reading for quite some time now. Couple of weeks... and That I was in such a nurge to read more.. that I didn't find the time to review!
Sorry!! HOnestly your story deserved it.

I'd never, ever, ever thought about Wood/Hermione. Now, I think I might start a fan club!!!

I liked the whole bringing bakc Voldy evil scheme and Malfoy-counter scheme you envisioned. They're still snivelly rats, however, not THAT rotten and evil. I was a bit sckeptical of Lucius being so 'civil' to Herms, but since she would be the only one that could testify to Malfoy's 'good' interests, it's understandable.

Also, I loved hearing all about the Scot's traditions such as the blackening and all those neally crazy things!! It's clear you did your homework.

Fred, George, Charlie and Viky were great in the story. Specially Krummy, offering to 'rescue' Herms from the Contract and all.

Also, way back, the wya you portrayed Hermione dragging Ollie from the showers for Harry's sake after they'd lost that match... Priceless! Best moment ever!! Totally loved it!!

Well... gotta fly now. Just wanted to make sure to tell you this story is bloody wonderful!!! You're an amazing writer!!
