Chapter: The Ballad of Azkaban

WOW. That was probably the best HP poem that I have ever had the pleasure of reading on MNFF. You had all of the rhyming and portrayal of the character perfectly.

I like this line:

Some trust too little, some love too late,
Some never even try,
He killed a man to save a life,
How could his eyes be dry?
Many kill the things they love,
Yet only one will die.

Wow, that's beautifully written, really.

I wish that I could write poetry like you could...WOW. I can't stop saying that! This was truly a wonderful poem. You have to win; it was great!

~Lindsey :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I really would reccomend reading Oscar Wilde's original if you liked mine. And thanks again for the kind wishes!

Chapter: The Ballad of Azkaban

Oh my! That was wonderful! I was wondering as I was nearing the end why Snape "does not" this and "does not" that - and not until the very line do you reveal the Dementor's Kiss! Great job building up to that, it was very suspenseful. You did an amazing job on the rhyme scheme. I wrote a poem with six line stanzas over the weekend and it's challenging to work in those extra two lines. You did that really well, and there are even some stanzas that rhyme a-b-a-b-a-b = amazing! This was a great piece, I loved the story and the construction - good luck in the challenge!! ~Gina :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, I generally don't write rhyming poems, but this one just ran away with me. The words seemed to fit in my head before I even put them on the page. Thanks again!

Chapter: The Ballad of Azkaban

This is the first review I have ever left, but after reading that, I couldn't just say nothing! It's excellent! I just hope Severus doesn't end that way in the books.

Author's Response: Wow, I'm honored, so thanks alot for the review! I hope Severus doesn't end that way either, but anything is possible.
