omg wow yeah i herd about the harry potter musical....i wonder if voldy might get his own solo
Author's Response: Hahaha, I would love that! He would be a first soprano!
Speaking of solos, here's another random mini-spoof, this one sung to the tune of "I'm a Believer"
SNAPE: I'm the half-blood prince, so just get over it
Thought it was someone else? Surprise, it's me!
Voldy did not forget me
That's just how it seemed
Now I'll be rewarded beyond my dreams!
I'm Professor Snape
And I'm a Death Eater!
And I'll escape
Back to You-Know-Who!
On the loose, yeah!
I'm a Death Eater
Just like old Peter
I love HSM, and HP and seeing someone mix them together makes really happy.
Author's Response: Oh, thanks! ^_^ I have a little bit TOO much fun making spoofs, and it always makes me happy that other people enjoy reading them.
Schmerg_the_Impaler i am nominating
you for best authour!
Author's Response: :o Oh my! Wow, thanks so much!
Haha coool!! Yesterday I watched HPCoS again and day before HSM2. Cool, I really loved them - fitted perfect with the lyrics and were more enjoyable than the original!! Especially liked Ron saying "A hug..or a handshake would do"!
Author's Response: Akshay! Oh, thank you! I'm glad you thought it was funny... it wasn't as much fun to spoof as "Phantom" or the Beatles because these songs are shorter and more pop-ish and don't tell a story as much as the all-singing Phantom or the truly imaginative Beatles lyrics, so there wasn't as much I could get across!
OH MY GODRIC. This was fantastic! I kept looking at the lyrics and grinning at how they fitted so well in those HSM songs. Hilarious! (:
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! I'm glad you thought the lyrics fitted well. I tried to make them work!
OMG!!! that was genious! I loved it. It was so funny!!!I can't get over how funny that was!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it!
Hehee!! Yay, HSM isn't exactly my favourite movie, so i like this spoof of it. However I can only remember the tunes to Breaking Free and Start of Something New...
Anyway, that was hilarious!!
(did i spell hilarious right?)
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! Yeah, I had to listen to the songs a lot and look at the lyrics to write it... I had NO idea how "Get Your Head In The Game" or "I Can't Take My Eyes Off You" went. Oh, and you did spell hilarious right!
Haha! That was so funny! Ahh! I'm still laughing, as I write this. You should defenetly write a Hairspray one, or maybe a HSM2 one! Especailly since, in my opinion, the songs in HSM2 were even cornier than HMS! Please, please write another one like this! It was so funny!!!!
Author's Response: Oh, thanks! The problem is, I really did not like HSM2's soundtrack at all, and I don't think I could stand listening to it enough to write a spoof of it!
I could actually picture all them doing the dances.
Bravo!! Anthor great musical parody!!
P.S. Do Wicked next. It's one of my faves!!
Author's Response: I would LOVE to see them dancing! Especially Snape! I'm glad you liked it!
Yes, Schmergo, you should REALLY do a "Harry-spray" (to borrow your word) spoof... and a Wicked one would be funny too, especially with Book 6... eventually, you could do all the books! :D
P.S. Ha ha about the "Elizabeth Swann moment". That made me laugh so hard (again).
P.P.S. "My, SOMEONE'S feeling a bit morbid today!" I started choking on my gum there... your stories are hazardous to my health!
P.P.S. But that doesn't mean I'll stop reading, reviewing, laughing, and squee-ing at them! :)
Author's Response: Oh, man! You actually CHOKED while reading my post suggesting that the reader tried CHOKING? Oh, the irony!
Oh my GOODNESS! This is AMAZING! Of course!
I actually played each song on youtube, and sang along, but with your lyrics! And I could NOT STOP LAUGHING! It was BRILLIANT! It was just so funny, every bit! I am so happy to know you and to have read all your stories! You're truly amazing, and I love reading anything you write. Wow, this was so good. And all the songs you re-wrote went fairly well to the beat of each original.
Anyone who decides to make a video singing this, send it to me too!
Way to go, Schmergo! You are a nut case! *high fives* pleaseyouHAVE
Author's Response: Oh, Ange! I'm sooo glad you like this! I read the email you sent me, but I wasn't allowed to open the forwarded message in case it was virus-y. Could you send me another email summarizing what was in the message?
I will never watch that movie the same way again. This was really good. You managed to morph the songs really well. Great job! I'll check out the Phantom of the Opera spoofs as soon as I hear the music. :D
Author's Response: Oh, thanks! I love trying to make the lyrics quite similar to the originals, rhyming in the right places and stuff. I really love Phantom, and I hope you enjoy it!
:]]]] i hate hsm and this was one of the funniest things i've ever read! nice work!
Author's Response: Aw, man! That's really a compliment! Although I am slightly disturbed by the fact that you seem to have four mouths.
Oh wow. THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!! Seriously, absolutly amazing. Just... wow.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I personally think it's not as good as my other spoofs... the lyrics aren't as complicated, so it's not as challenging to spoof... but I'm glad you like it.
LOLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i laughed so hard i cried when i read this!! this is a work of GENIUS, i tell u!!!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I'm so glad you liked it!
BRILLIANT! I LOVE IT! ~MJ
Author's Response: AW! Thanks, MJ!
I was reading your reviews, and I saw this one where someone said you should do 'Wicked' out of book 6, and you said it should be book 7, and Snape can sing 'Defiying Gravity...' *bursts into laughter* OMG!!! That. Sounds. COOL!!! 10/10
Author's Response: Because you know how Snape comes out from behind the suit of armour and says "It is I?"
In this version, he could go, "IT'S MEEEE! So if you care to find me, look to the Western skies, as Voldy told me lately, everyone deserves the chance to fly!"
And he can sing about 'too long I've been afraid of losing love I guess I've lost! Well, if that's love, it comes at much too high a cost!" And he's certainly "playing by the rules of someone else's game."
YAYs! Happy. I am a big fan of HSM actually, and I was singing YOUR lyrics when I put it on the CD. It came out really cool. You should TOTALLY do a Wicked version of Deathly Hallows!
Author's Response: Hey, Stephanie! I'm really glad you liked it! I love singing crazy lyrics along with the CD! It makes life interesting!
WHOOT!! U did it!! Any chance of HSM 2? Please? Pretty Please? Please Pretty Please with a banana split with ice cream, sprinkles, chocolate chip cookies, whipped cream, candy bars and a cherry on top? Schmergo? *puppy dog face* ; D 10/10
Author's Response: Aw! I don't know if I'll do HSM.... I didn't really like the songs... but you never know!
Schmerg! That's awesome!!
A few months ago, you sent me a link to your Phantom of the Opera on the other site, and I started writing a Wicked one. I lost it in a major computer crash, but you have inspired me to start out new. Haha.
Anyway, I was laughing my butt off, and I really need to show this to my friend (she's in love with highschool musical!)! Nice job!
Author's Response: Oh, I'd love to see your Wicked spoof! I hope you manage to reattach your butt! (Sorry, I'm cheesy!)
