I think I first read this about 2 weeks after I joined FanFiction and that was about 3 years ago! I still love it and George's story always makes me smile.

Ohmygod, Mia. I've been meaning to read this for a long time now, and I finally got around to it. You can't see me, but if you could, you'd know how much this story touched me. I can't express it with words.

Mia, I'm crying.

-hugs-

Author's Response: Hey Mere! So, this is almost two years too late, but thank you! Simply, thank you.

Thank you so much, Mia. This story really reached out to me, and to the other people who've lost loved ones. George's story was beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you so much.

First off, I would like to say that this is a heartbreakingly good fic. I love the way that it can be set apart as separate drabbles, but fit very well together as well.

I loved the Sirius and Remus parts. They are so sad and well written, with beautiful description that allows the reader to become a part of the scene. I think that you had both Sirius and Remus nicely in character, as well as with Arthur.

All right, I love seeing George’s view on Fred’s death, and this was no exception. The idea of the sharing of the sock drawer was so creative and original. I also liked your characterization of Alicia. Oh and, in this sentence:

“He smirked a little, as he replied, “We’re going out.”

The second ‘he’ should be ‘she’ because it should be Alicia that says it. Other than that, I thought this part was nicely written, though George was a bit short with her, just kidding.

The Teddy and Andromeda scene was just adorable. The way he asked if violet was a girl color was the perfect example of those little things that children often say that make you want to simultaneously cry and laugh. It was very creative and written well.

The only thing I really have to comment on is that Lucius was only Sirius’ cousin by marriage, because he married Narcissa. So, Sirius wouldn’t have had him as a cousin at that age when he burned the table.

Good job, I look forward to reading more,
Haylee

I really like this story. Didn't you have the first part as a drabble in the Three Broomsticks over on the forums?

You portrayed all of the characters perfectly. And it was amazing how you molded together the fact that Sirius won't eat tomato seeds because James didn't while he was alive, and then Remus wouldn't eat tomato seeds after Sirius died. I really liked that.

I also thought it was cute how Teddy turned his hair violet after asking if it was a girls colour. I really liked that.

It was really nice of you to dedicate this to people who are missed... It just makes you feel better knowing that you're not the only one out there, and there are people that can relate to you. =

You're a great writer. Please, keep it up!

Author's Response: Hi! I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I think your name's Tiffany... I did. This started out as a drabble for the Missing You prompt in the Remus's Reflections. You are one of the few that mentioned Teddy's hair color choice. Glad you did. I liked that part of it. And that was my very first intention when I wrote this; to dedicate it. We all miss people in some way, and that's what this story is about. Thanks very much for your lovely review!

God thats sad. And really beautiful. I love it, the memory of things lost. It made me cry, especially the bit at the end when Teddy took out his tomato seeds. Much

Author's Response: The ending was my favorite part to write. I'm very glad you liked it and took the time to leave me a review.

I just this for my second time and I got to say it is my favorite one-shot. Also it made me cry which is hard to do. I love how you tided it back to tomato seeds in the end. Also on my second reading I realized what Ginny hiding her scars meant.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like my story enough to read it for a second time... I'm glad you got the scars thing too. I was worried some people wouldn't understand it... :)

One word: Beautiful. I swear I cried, I even put this in my favorites. You're right, it's all about the little things.

Author's Response: Thanks. It really is the little things. The ones nobody else notices. You don't love people because they're brave and strong, hopeful and fair. You love them for the little things. Thanks for the review, and for adding my story to your favorites!
