Only one chapter? This needs many, many more, especially after a first sentence like that one! I like Helene very much now.

I can find a couple of nitpicks, such as an errant comma in your summary, but not enough to fuss over. Congratulations!

Author's Response: Thank you! I have the second chapter half done- I just haven't had much chance to write since I'm finishing up my thesis (bleagh). But I have about 18 in the planning stages, so it won't stay single for too long! I'll run off and try to find that comma. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm really glad you liked it (and Helene).
