Chapter: Why A Mother Lives

I love how you over lapped the two stories! Kendra's distress at leaving is a major difference to Molly's contented and peaceful death. You did a wonderful job at showing the lucky and the unlucky in this instance! Good luck in the judging. Cyns

Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much, Cyns! We thought it would be an intriguing comparison. Glad you thought so too. :)

wonderful. as a mother I can totally understand this!

Author's Response: You have no idea how great it is to hear that you relate to this fic. As this was written by two teenage girls, we don't have much mothering experience at this point in our lives! But we loved our idea too much to give it up for that reason. :) Thanks for your review!

"They'll be fine," he comforts me. "We're not going very far, you know."

Oh, my goodness! That's so sweet! I love it!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! Just the reactions my co-author and I were going for. :D
