I'm sure Severus was in a place he was very unfamiliar with. Everyone seemed to know what was going on except him. Even McGonagall knew what was up. I've enjoyed reading this Christmas story.
That was sweet. I was afraid it wouldn't go well--Severus was so stilted. And, I was afraid of a sad ending. But this was good. Great chapter.
Poor Severus. People in the park must think he's nutty--sitting alone on a park bench, muttering to himself, with a doll laid across his lap. What's that old song--It Might Have Been--the saddest words. Great chapter.
How sad that Snape is just waiting for something to happen. It's too bad he can't be more proactive. I hope Hermione appears. Great chapter.

Well, Severus seems to be pining for Hermione, for her companionship. Which is why he walks in this same park.
He enjoyed their talks and walks in the park, then she left to do her own thing, leaving him, lonely?

A strange thought accurs to me,every time I read a Snape related story...He is always portrayed as sullen and miserable. True, that is his demeanor, but you would think he would be happy to walk in this park, hoping to see the girlwith the bushy hair. Of course, he hates Muggles and the fact that he's in a MUggle park, watching them, makes him even more sullen. This is just my opinion, of course. I have read quite a few of your stories and loved each and every one of them, and this one is no exception. I just wish Severus would just chill a bit and enjoy life! just my thoughts. Thanks for a great story and hearing me out. I hope I did'nt offend.
