For Hugo, wouldn't it be "Dad" not "Uncle Ron"? Oh well...I knew who you meant.
I really liked this. And while I think it would absolutely be worthwhile to do something like this for more characters, I'm glad you started with Hermione. I think you know by now that Ginny might just be my favorite character (and the Harry/Ginny ship alongside), but I really don't think Hermione (and Ron, by extension) get the treatment they deserve. I liked your detailed description of Hermione's personality, and I thought that the style you chose to showcase her with was very unique and creative. Nice job!
Author's Response: Haha, I just fixed that. Thanks for pointing it out :) I'm glad you liked this! I, too, am a bigger Harry/Ginny fan than Ron/Hermione (Harry and Ginny are probably my OTP, at least for the Harry Potter universe) but I really wanted to explore Hermione's character. Thanks for the review!
AWW i love it!!! i think you should definitely do this for the other characters!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm definitely going to try to do it for at least a few other characters.
This is lovely. I don't know a better way to describe it.
Please write ones for the other characters!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
I love this! And I definitely think you should do this for the others. Especially Ginny and Lily. Although with Ginny you'd probably have to do more than seven, with all the boys and men in her life. But please write them, you'll definitely have at least one reader! (Though I'm positive I won't be the only one)
Author's Response: Thanks! I would really like to do this for other characters, so keep an eye out!
Very well done! Each character brought their own voice to it. I think I'd like to see this same treatment with the less obvious characters such as Snape, Sirius and, of course, Remus.
Author's Response: Thank you! I've considered doing it with less obvious characters, but the problem with that is we don't know as many people who mean something to them, so I would have to bring in OCs, which I don't think is as much fun.
Oh. My. I completely love this. Love, love, LOVE. I found myself getting choked up more than once, and that is saying something for me. I usually think Ron is my favorite character, but lately I've been on a bit of a Hermione kick. I fee like she gets the short end of the stick in so much fanfic, but maybe I've just been stumbling onto the wrong stories lately. You've highlighted everything wonderful about her, all the things that make her such a great heroine in the books. She's got flaws, but they are completely overshadowed by how fiercely she loves and perseveres.
I enjoyed every perspective, but I especially loved Arthur, Hugo, and (of course) Ron. Ron's part was incredibly romantic, and still somehow, believable.
Really, really wonderful read. And I would be all over reading similar fics for other characters.
I am a fan of yours. :) At this point, I think I would read anything if your name was on it.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I feel like Hermione gets the most attention in fanfiction when it concerns Hermione/Draco, which I have never liked -- I'm Hermione/Ron to the end! I'm glad you liked this and thought it properly captured Hermione :)
What a wonderful story! Beautifully written - how you capture the essense of the characters!
Author's Response: Thank you! That's high praise :)
I just love it!! It's beautiful! I'd love to see the others wrote this way too! Great job!!
Author's Response: Thanks! I really hope I'll have the time to write the others!
Wow! That was such an emotional fic. I loved every single one of them. :) Sorry about this short review, but really - it actually made me tear up a bit. I am so, so happy you made such a wonderful contribution to canon. :)
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad you liked it -- and a review of any length is appreciated :)
