whoaaaa! Amazing! Your writing is so sensual and exciting, Ariana. You just make the characters come alive in your stories. I can see the setting so clearly in my head and the small details, down to the hole in the black slip. WONDERFUL

The twist at the end completely blindsided me (and I'd read the drabble as well!). Fantastic twist that they were caught in this triangle and I loved the fact that Susan wasn't a Hufflepuff goody goody because she'd set this trap that she no longer wishes to sprin or to leave.

Just wonderful. Please, please,. never stop writing. You're far too good not to. ~Carole~

Thank you so, so much for this review, Carole! It made me incredibly happy, especially as I wasn't expecting to get any more reviews for this story :). Ooh, and I'm so excited you read the drabble too. I'm glad someone outside of SPEW read it and liked it. I feel like Susan used to be a Puff goody-goody, but Theo's betrayal would have cracked that aspect of her a little. <3 Thank you so much again! xx Ariana

I loved this! At first I was a bit concerned that there seemed to be little plot but you really proved me wrong at then end with the huge twist. However unlikely this pairing may be you made it seem likely which is a huge accomplishmaint so very well done you! I feel like you really brought us into the mind of Susan. It is just an overall great story.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! The beginning is a bit shallow, I agree, and I'm happy you thought the twist made it deeper :). Thanks for reviewing! xx Ariana

Wow. That was excellent; very raw and emotional, with a lot of power behind it. I like the pairing, too; nice and different. I enjoyed it :)

Author's Response: Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for leaving this review :) xx Ariana

Ariana! It is so, so wrong that this only has one review because it was a wicked story. It was the one I voted for and I knew it was going to win.

Susan/Daphne is such a brilliant pairing, so kudos to you for writing it. Plus, I loved the twist at the end. Got to go, bye!

Author's Response: Oh yay! Thanks for voting for it :). I'm so happy you liked Susan/Daphne, and the minor twist which made me realize that the Femmeslash cat might not be the best place for it … oh well! Thank you for taking the time to review! xx Ariana

Ariana- this is going to be a brief review (sorry) but I just had to say how utterly brilliant this was. I would wait until next month to review it for SPEW but, honestly, its so flawless that I can't think of anything critical to say (talking of SPEW- you don't mention in the summary that it WON. Which you should :) ). From the start the emotions and tensions are at a a very high point, and you retain that pain but also vulnerability throughout. And I love the additions (or in all likelihood things that had to be cut for length) to the drabble- like that twist at the end with it not just being Susan's way of dealing with Theo, but her way of getting revenge on him. I love how concise and perfect your writing is- the lines "Theo has changed her and he has broken her. He chose Daphne – but Daphne chose Susan.

And this is Susan’s way to break him, no matter how much it aches inside.
" In particularly. Anyway- sorry for such a brief/ awful review but that was just brilliant. Alex

Author's Response: Squee! Thanks so much for the lovely review, Alex! I am very happy you liked it; I was a little obsessed with Daphne while writing it so I'm glad that a plot actually formed somewhere along the way :). This is *not* how I'm hoping the Susan/Theo relationship would go, but all the same it was fun to write and to cough up the unedited version. Thanks again! xx Ariana
