Chapter: Shades of Lavender: Transparent

I just love the ending when Ron and Hermione say goodbye after Harry has left! it was perfect!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm a sucker for cheesy train platform greetings/goodbyes so I'm glad this one was enjoyable :)

Chapter: Shades of Lavender: Through the Mist

I really liked the dream and the scene where Hermione knew Ron's perfect gifts much better than Lavender did.

Author's Response: Thank you! After being friends for that long, she must have known him better than Lavender, surely. The necklace just proves that...

Chapter: Shades of Lavender: Opaque

At that age even a girl as smart as Hermione doesn't know that heartache won't last forever and that she can recover. She is feeling the pain I think all of us have felt at one time or another. Good job! You really know how to write teenage angst and heartache.

Author's Response: I know. Poor girl. Books did prepare her for this! Haha, thank you :)

Chapter: Shades of Lavender: Translucent

How did I completely miss the fact that Hermione invited Ron to Slug's party weeks before it happened and before Ron and Lavender were an item? That explains a lot! I always thought she overreacted when he and Lavendar became a couple and she found them snogging. She felt so betrayed because she asked him on a date and now he had a gf, she couldn't clarify things with him. She was so angry and now it makes perfect sense. i must have been slow that week.

Author's Response: Haha, to be fair, there is a lot of other stuff going in the book to get distracted by. But yeah, we have a very open invitation and then nothing until Ron starts acting horribly to her and then kisses Lavender. Poor Hermione. Although I doubt Ron expected the canaries.

Chapter: The Truth, Brains and Other Things that Hit Ron

The scene where Hermione explained The Great War was heartbreaking. I love how you turned it into a chance for her to show him how much she admires him. Neither can see their own admirable qualities. Isn't that such true human nature though? We somehow never realize what it is others love in us.

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the reviews! Sorry it has taken a while to respond to them. Yes, we really are blind to what makes us special, Ron more than most I think.

Chapter: Separating From Harry

The arguing about their lack of arguments, so typical of Ron and Hermione!

Author's Response: Only them, eh? Thanks for the review!

Chapter: The One In Which Neither Are In Love

That was such a good account of the tension everyone felt when Cedric died. I know it might sound cliche but it was filled with such humanity. It was my favorite of the glimpses in this chapter.

Author's Response: Hello again! Thank you! Haha, no, I know what you mean. It was the first big death for everyone so I guess most of the kids grew up a lot that day.

Chapter: How the Cookie Krumbles

A lovely chapter once again. I didn't realize I missed this scene until you told it and now I realize why I was always so surprised Ron and Hermione fell in love but was not surprised to find I felt they were meant to be. It was because JK Rowling never explored their blossoming love. It was like one day they woke up high school freshman and best friends and the next they woke up high school graduates and high school sweethearts in love and you go, "How did that happen?!"

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! See I sort noticed all the little R/Hr moments throughout the books (probably because I was looking for them) so I was kinda waiting for them to be together all along. There's only tiny hints in the earlier books, but I suppose that's what you get from writing from Harry's POV. Anyway, glad you're enjoying this so far :)

Chapter: Building Blocks, Foundations and a Troll

What an astonishing achievement--in the scope of this thing you answer so many other questions, like how Mr. and Mrs. Granger interact with the wizards, and how Hermione left things with Krum. I haven't read the whole thing yet but I will (who needs housework anyway?). As much as I liked this my favourite parts are the disclaimers!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far! Yeah, I tried to tie up loose ends and Hermione's parents kind of fascinate me (hoping Pottermore will eventually answer some questions on that note) so all that stuff ended up in there. No one needs housework. That is why they invented house cleaning robots. Haha, thank you. I am a bit prouder of them than I probably should be :)

This was such a brilliant story. Thank you so much for writing it and keeping me gripped.
It was such a lovely idea to see the major events through Ron and Hermoine's eyes and it was very moving.
Thanks again! I'm off to read more of your stories now. :-)

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm really my version of their side of things. And thank you so much for taking an interest in other things I've written. It really means a lot :-)

This was absolutely brilliant! I loved the attention to detail and the perfect way you captured Ron and Hermione's insane way of dealing with their feelings... And I especially love every time you wrote a missing scene that I had never even given a thought to before, like the scenes over the summer or their Hogsmeade trip without Harry, etc. Thank you for the incredible read!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! It really was seven years of insanity that could have otherwise been easily dealt with but that would be no fun at all. I really tried to pick moments that hadn't been done before I'm glad you liked that! So yeah... thanks for reading :)

Really really awesome story. Easily one of the best fanfictions i have ever read. Everyone ws so in character and the missing moments blended in with the actual story extremely well. It made me want to re read the entire series. I have been following this story for a while now and i do hope you write something this fabulous again because i would greatly miss following this story. Amazing work. I love it and will read the entire story atleast once more. Its in my book marks. :D well done

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! Wow, thank you! Anything that makes you want to read Potter can't be a bad thing, right? I will try to write something fabulous, don't worry! It's just a question as to whether I succeed or not, haha! And thank you for bookmarking me! It means a lot when people reread so yay :)

Chapter: Building Blocks, Foundations and a Troll

this was such a clever idea for stories. i can understand why ron and hermione fell for each other, but at the same time i did always wonder how? i was always curious about the day to day falling in love of those two. Thanks for writing it!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! Yeah, there were so many moments in canon where you know more happened and this story is just me exploring that really.

Gosh this was amazing. I've been following this story from the start and I love the way you have advanced the relationship and show how they have grown. You did a wonderful job. I'm hoping against hope that this Harry focused ending is hinting at a Harry/Ginny continuation of the story and your brand new exploration of the characters.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! And thank you for the kind words. I really tried to show how they grew up so I'm glad you mentioned that. Unfortunately I haven't got any kind of H/G continuation but I might write a H/G one-shot in the future. I hope that's okay? Anyway, thank you again for reviewing!

I will start by saying congratulations on writing this amazing missing moments fan fiction, it is truly the best one I have ever read. I have loved reading this story so much that I have a bit sad that it is over, but I have loved every part of it (including this ending).
I must say I am a horrible fan fiction reader because I never take the time to review (and when I say never I really mean never). This is however the third time, if i am not mistaken, that I have reviewed this particular story and I think that, to some extent, shows you how much I have loved reading your work.
I am not sure I can put into words everything I love about this story, but I will try. For starters most authors seem to find the first books, when Ron and Hermione's "strange" relationship is not so obvious, unimportant. I for one think it is fantastic that you included every book. Everything you have written could have easily been in the books. Your attention to detail is amazing and you have actually made me see some of the characters in a different light. Even though I didn't review it, chapter 15 Road to Redemption, was probably the chapter that impressed me the most because I, unlike most of the Harry Potter fans, have always had a very Hermionish opinion about Luna (I must confess that I have always wondered why she was sorted into Ravenclaw) and you showed me another side of her that really makes sense, and that makes her a better character.
You have clearly put a lot of work into writing this and I think the best way to say everything I want to say is thank you!

Oh one last think, are you only a Ron/Hermione shipper or can we expect more cannon based fan-fiction from you?

Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing! And thank you so much for the kind words! Haha, don't feel too bad. I used to be the same, but you make up for it with great reviews so that's something. I guess the reason I started with them becoming friends is because that is what their story is - two best friends finding each other. Ah, I'm really happy about that! Luna is one of my favourite characters so I wanted to show her not as the weird one who says funny things, but as a smart and weird person who says funny things. So yeah, to have 'converted' someone makes me very proud. Anyway, thank you so much for the reviews and I am glad you enjoyed this :). R/Hr are my beloved OTP so I'd say about 75-80% of the stuff I write is based on them but I do write other canon based stuff.

I really like the interaction between Ron and Hermione in this chapter. Although I do think that you had it spot on all along through the whole story. This is a wonderful story and it stays true to canon in every detail. CONGRATULATIONS! And thank you so MUCH for finishing it.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it and liked the characterisation - that was what I was most worried about. Haha, thank you and it was my pleasure :)
