Whoa!!!!! So obviously I had to sneak a peak having seen your prompt on tumblr. I will tell you, though, that if I don't like something, then I don't review, so this is my way of saying WOW! This is powerful. This is such good writing and this is coming from someone that really doesn't like D/A much. (odd, 'cause I don;t like fluff and saccharine much, either. I must be very hard to please.)
It's Frank, I think, isn't it? And such a great way to write him. He's still locked in that insanity, but knows it has to stop because he really can't cope with any of it any more. Just fabulous!
Very dark, very deep and beautifully written. ~Carole~
Author's Response: Well, thanks for the review! Geez, I have no words because this is just insanely positive. I guess I'm glad you picked up on who it was and you liked the way I wrote him since, after a reread, I really didn't like it. Then again, that's how I am with every single story so there's nothing to be surprised at there D:
Wow - this is very well written! Okay, I am quite stupid, and I haven't read the series in a long time, and so I can't figure out who it is . . . but that's just me being stupid, I'm sure! I love this! Keep up the great work! I need to stop using exclaimation marks!
Author's Response: Well first of all thank you for the kind words. Secondly, I didn't mean to say that not knowing who it was meant you were stupid! I just meant that there are few canon characters we know of with intense mental disorders relatively...intimately. The man in this one we do meet, and we've known his son for the whole series. Hope that helps :)
