That was adorable! And so humorous as well - some great, laugh-out-loud thoughts from Ron, yet still kind of deep, all so very Ron. I think you've really captured the essence of Ron and Hermione's relationship in those last lines especially. I really enjoyed it. I wonder how Hermione's POV would go? ;)

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing:) Ron has his own brand of deep thought I think. Glad you found this funny! I've been planning to write a Hermione POV but inspiration is yet to strike. Hopefully it'll happen at some point.

Okay, what annoys me about some fanfiction Romione is the way Hermione is portrayed as competent and practically perfect (shades of Mary Poppins) and Ron is always this gallumphing oaf who's always playing catch-up to her fabulousness. But you've given him the upper hand here (just slightly) and I love it. I should probably declare that Ron is my favourite member of the Trio because I found him very real... and he made me laugh. Your version has also made me laugh - a lot.
I think my favourite part is when he's talking about her hair problem (MY SWEET MERLIN I UNDERSTAND THAT, RON!) and then her weeoing over the characters in a book ... because don't we all do that. Ha ha - seriously brilliant.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing :) Yes! The whole "Ron isn't good enough for her" argument - what is she? Some kind of God-like princess? Neither of them are perfect, but they are perfect together. Ron is my favourite too. Sometimes, in fics like this, it really shows. Hermione's hair issues and emotional breakdown over fictional characters are very similar to mine so it's pretty funny writing it from the outside. Anyhoo, glad you enjoyed this and hopefully the giggling has stopped now or I imagine you'd be a quite a bit of pain :)
I enjoyed this. Great characterization of both of them. I love how you`ve taken what we know of the two, and deepened that knowledge, taken us further into the lake, if you will. cj
