Yay! They got together! :D Please don't make it just a one-night stand! It would break Charity's heart, and mine too.... :/
Of course, Remus would be beating himself up! Charity is amazing, especially for almost losing her temper with him. He sure needed it. I wish we could know more about Charity though.
Looking forward to the next chapter! :)
PS: What did happen with Rosmerta? Is it another fic? ;)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! Next chapter is up, so you'll find some of your answers there. As for Rosmerta, haha - I wrote a fic about Remus and Rosmerta but as it takes place at the same time, I wouldn't say that in this story there was anything...really. Hee hee, just a coy hint. Who knows, maybe? ;) Thanks again for the lovely reviews! ~Gina :)
OH OH OH! Yes, some things are better off the page ... although .... hmmmmmmm.
I love Remus but want to shake him so much. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! But this is beautifully characterised because he would blame himself. He had thought Sirius was the spy and yet didn;t do anything. -sigh -
Gina, thank you so much for this loveliness. It's a gorgeous story and now, more than ever, I don;t want Charity to dieeeeeeeeeee. I'm sobbing for her and hat could have been. (except for Tonks, of course, but she could have found love with someone ... like ... um ... a Quidditch Keeper ... perhaps ... giggling)
thank you so very much for writing this for me when you have so many other things on your plate and other writey priorities. This is perfect! Marauder and Charity - sigh
,br> Love this ~Carole~
Author's Response: I know, I know - birthday smut would have been perfect! But I'm no good at working it into a fic - it's just pwp or nothing, lol. Glad you liked it, though. I feel so bad for Remus - I mean, how hard was it for him to be teaching there knowing Sirius was breaking in? We don't get that from Harry's POV so it's been so interesting exploring that. Poor man. I'm enjoying writing it so I'm glad you are enjoying it. Thank you for always reviewing it! ~Gina :)
FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111 After all I've taught you!!! Special Fall BREW!!!!!
Giggling. You are such a tease gina gmariam.
Okay, big apology here, but Natalie banned me from the archives while she was trying to post and as I never peak(or rather peek - ha ha), I closed the archives and that's why you didn't get a read or review yesterday.
I love this story so much. Remus is lovely, as always, but Charity is so sweet and kind and loving and ... who is that Tonks person again?
Must read on, but before I do, I am giggling at Remus' assertion that he never had anything to do with Rosmerta - sly wolf!
FALLLLLLLLL - sigh-
Author's Response: What is this autumn you keep bothering me about. It's fall - after summer, before winter. FALL. Hee hee. Oooh, glad you liked Remus's little assertion about Rosmerta, that made me giggle too! And I'm just glad you are enjoying it since it's all your fault I've latched onto a rather lovely couple like Remus and Charity. Thank youuuuu!~Gina :)
Oh double update, thank you thank you. Can I have a bit of interaction with/or thoughts dwelling on Harry & his friends too? Or even the twins and suppose they remind him of James and Sirius?
Author's Response: You're welcome - and thank you for the review! Not sure about Harry or the twins, but I shall take them under consideration, esp. the latter as I did have April Fool's Day roughly penciled into my outline, lol. Thanks for reading! ~Gina :)
Ooooh, interesting chapter! I bet Charity reminds Remus of Lily. Haha, I love that she can put Snape in his place! :P I just can't like him, especially in the third book. *sigh*
I hope Remus and Charity go together all the way. Is Tonks going to come in? I hope you get a happy ending for them, though it can't be for long. *sob*
I've been reading POA again and this fic accompanies it beautifully. Please do update soon!
PS: Happy Birthday to the lovely EquinoxChick! :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! You are exactly right that Charity reminds Remus of Lily! Yay! I agree on Snape, that's for sure. As for Tonks, no, she is not a part of this story, sorry! And I reread loads of PoA for this too, so hopefully I'll get my canon facts right! So glad you enjoyed it - thanks again! ~Gina :)
Guess what? the minute I read your summary I though of The Walnut Tree and the part where everyone thinks something's going on between Lupin and Charity. I love that story and I love this too, but this is too short. You must you musty you must update soon. *petulant fan- rant*
Author's Response: As my author's note said, that is EXACTLY where I got the idea from and I loved it - the pairing, that is. Carole's story too, yet as many authors sometimes do, I am becoming fond of Remus/Charity. I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you so much for reading this. All of the chapters will be short, but I'll have two more this week so at least the updates will be quick! I hope you enjoy some more - thanks again! ~Gina :)
Happy Birthday to meeeee. Last year I wrote a gift to myself - hahahahaha. This year, I won't bother because this is lovely.
Thank you, Gina. This is fabulous. I adore the set up. Remus is fabulous, Charity is just how I imagine her, the wine swirling is perfect, and Severus is a GIT! What could be better.
Oh, she's kind of a Lily/James hybrid ... hazel eyes, auburn hair ... almost just like me when I've dyed my hair ... ooops. But yeah, she is quite like Lily with her honesty, isn't she? No wonder he feels sad and comfortable with her. :(
Author's Response: You are so very welcome! It is not the story I have been meaning to write for the last two or three years, but The Walnut Tree just really stuck this pairing in my head and it's just taken off a bit. So maybe next year that other one will write itself. ;) I'm glad you like it, even if you have to because it's a present, lol. I think I've got a good grip on Remus (*smirk*) after so many ME fics, but Charity is almost an OC so I'm glad you like her. I wasn't picturing her as a James/Lily hybird, lol, but she definitely reminded Remus of Lily at least, which is exactly why he was comfortable though sad. And the wine! Red! Yay! Someday I will swirl wine with you, maybe even red. :) Anyway - thank you for the review, and I do hope you enjoy the rest. I've got a bunch done so hopefully I won't catch up to myself and make you wait too long. I want to post a bit this week and a bit next week and then we'll see. Enjoy, hugs, and Happy Birthday!! ~Gina :)
