Hey all! I'm Ellie (age fifteen) and I generally write Next Gen fanfiction. I currently have a few stories underway, and my updating should be semi-frequent, as I always have poetry I can post.
Real Life Bio:I have been playing violin for eleven years (currently working on Symphonie Espagnole by Eduard Lalo), I run cross country, and participate in Science Olympiad and ROV (remote operated vehicle). I'm a huge Broadway geek, though my singing skills are best left to the privacy of the shower.
Other Series/Books I love: Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Les Miserables, Sherlock Holmes, Pride and Prejudice, The Odyssey, Shakespeare, anything by John Green, Divergent trilogy, TMI and TID, and more I won't begin to mention.
Favorite Pairings: Rose/Scorpius, Teddy/Lily Luna, James/Lily, Albus/Rose, Louis/Lily, James II/Lucy, but I'm open to anything.
Category I mostly write in: I'm a D/A writer as well as Next Gen.
Chased by Daylight: This was written for Maple_and_PheonixFeather, and is my Leddy. It's been nominated for best NG story in the QSQ's.
Humbling Prejudice: Nominated in the 2013 QSQ awards for Post-Hogwarts and NCR, this story features Eloise/Cormac, a pair I was dared to write. Contains heavy literary references.
Waltz of Treachery: A short, sassy Helgazar.
Rain Will Make the Flowers Grow: My Albus/Rose, written for the 2013 Cotillion. It's heavily based around the June Rebellion in 1832.
Remember the Slytherins: Working on it.
Yellow Knit Hat & Finding Neverland: My James II/Lucy pieces. The first is not a real relationship (they do not even kiss), but it evolves into Finding Neverland.
Human Debris: This was nominated for best D/A in the 2013 QSQ's, and is a very dark piece based around Albus Potter.
421 Hours: For all of those who enjoyed All That's Left, I have a companion piece. Look for it within the month.
Poetry: I'll post a new poem periodically. (most likely when I have writer's block for RTS or are having it beta-d)
Summary: Maybe he didn’t just love history, maybe he loved being a history teacher.
Summary: There is a thin line between love and hate. There is an even thinner line between Gryffindor and Slytherin; the willingness to do anything to achieve their goals. Gryffindors cannot see the big picture, and if they come to a decision to choose between the greater good and their loved ones or himself, they would sacrifice the world for their friends.
Slytherins are different. We know the value of sacrifice, but there is something else that separates us from those who wear red and gold. We will fight as hard as we can, in any way possible, even if it may be seen as unjustified or morally wrong. Gryffindors let their consciences get in the way of the greater goal. We don’t, but no one believes that we can fight for the right cause. They remember us as the evil, idiotic, or simply power hungry. They don’t remember us for what we are; who we are. We’re here to change that.
They will remember us, and they will remember us as those who fought all prejudice and cruelty simply because were were done with it. They will remember us, and the next time they think of a phoenix rising from the ashes they will remember this phrase:
Remember the Slytherins.
Nominated in the 2012 QSQ Awards - Next Gen/OC for Nick.
Summary: One summer's night in Hogwarts, two statues are given one night to be human.
Summary: Louis hated winter, and Lily was trapped in it.
Originally written for Soraya in SPEW's Summer Swap (IV edition). Hope you enjoy it.
Summary: Albus remembered her, through everything that happened. And he just wanted to go back to where it all began, where everything was fine.
Summary: In the morning, she knows he'll never be there.
This is for Maple, as a rather late birthday present. It's not much, but I hope you like it.
Summary: Lily and Albus have always been close. When Albus is away playing with dragons and she-demons and Lily dealing with her own problems with Shady Scamanders and her favourite Teddy, the two communicate by the only way they can - letters.
Summary: There were a few short moments that taught Cormac to love, truly. And it was all Eloise's fault.
This was written for the 2013 Great Hall Cotillion. It is also for Jess, or ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor. Not only did she dare me to write this, the lovely SPEW monarch deserves a present after all of the LoveNotes she's been writing.
Summary: In one dance, everything Helga thought she knew comes crashing down around her. She should have known all things come to an end, especially in matters concerning a heartless toerag by the name of Salazar Slytherin.
Summary: It's been a year since Molly died, and Lucy is walking on the edge, ready to fall. Is anyone going to be there to save her this time?
This is iMusic17 from Slytherin participating in the 2013 Great Hall Cotillion.
This is a companion piece to Yellow Knit Hat. It isn't necessary to read that story first, but it might help.
Summary: Albus is a rebel without a cause. Rose is the one he left behind for a revolution. When everything is crashing down around them, will free-thinking be worth the cost? Who will end up paying the price?
*Title is taken from 'A Little Fall of Rain' from Les Misérables.
This fic is for (and was betaed by) Soraya, the captain of this ship. Written for the 2013 Great Hall Cotillion.

Summary: Embers in a cage made from bone
slowly growing cold
Albus needed her. She didn’t need him.
He was a shadow of who he used to be; there was no life in him.
She was the one who sucked the very soul out of him.
When all was said and done, nothing remained of either of them. They were human debris.
This was written for, inspired by, and generally blamed on Jamie (Acacia Carter). She’s an amazing author, and I hope I did the video, IKEA table, and her justice.
This is iMusic17 from the house of the snakes writing for the final round in Alex’s triathalon 2012.
Summary: Once Upon a Time ...
Nora has heard tales of beasts and warlocks hidden in the woods by her village. This is rubbish. She has never seen either of them, even in her secret visits into the forest. One night, however, Nora stumbles into a world not quite her own. Where those tales are real.
This is iMusic17 from the house of future Dark Lords (no, not Hufflepuff) writing for the last round of Madame Alex's Triathalon.
Summary: Words can say many things. They can declare love, start wars, console, and hurt. There is no denying that they carry great power. But there are some things words cannot say. There are things they cannot describe.
L’histoire de la fleur et du loup. Mon histoire.
Heavy. Emanate. Bellow. After All. Troubled Waters. Regret. Ends of the Earth. This is Albus and Scorpius's story. Where they learn to breathe.
This is iMusic17 crawling out of the snakes' evil lair to write for SPEW 007.
Summary: Pansy rolled over, and her eyes found a white wall staring back at her. Everything here was white: sanitized, blinding, annoyingly bright white. Even the loose cotton she had been forced to wear was white. But there was a reason Pansy was there. She was crazy. Pansy knew she was, but couldn’t bring herself to care.
Yes, life wasn't turning out the way Pansy planned, but it was manageable. Until he came along ...
This is iMusic17 from Slytherin writing for Round II of the CC Triathalon (2012).
Summary: It was what I imagined stars felt like. Burning bright, but floating high above anyone who wanted to pull them down.
The one summer where everything changed was when Voldemort returned. People were changing, too. It was the summer that changed Luna Lovegood for good.
This is iMusic17 of Slytherin writing for the Picture Prompt in Part I of Madam Pomfrey's One-Shot Triathalon.
