Welcome to my author page!
I am a teacher, musician, reader, and avid Harry Potter fan. I am originally from the Midwest and now live a bit farther south. I am thrilled to be a proud member of RAVENCLAW House and enjoyed being a site moderator for a time as well.
I hope you enjoy the many stories and poems I have written. I am proud of them all and appreciate any feedback you might care to leave (in other words, reviews are love!) I've listed them below with a short description since I know trolling through summaries can be tedious. Thanks for reading!
EDIT: Someday I will categorize my stories by genre. Today is not that day. ;)
Summary: One man struggles with the holidays after the death of a loved one.
Summary: Remus Lupin reflects on his past as he faces an uncertain future after the death of a close mentor.
Summary: A pair of sonnets that explore the betrayal and regret of the Marauders.
Summary: It's Halloween and the Head Boy and Head Girl are stuck in the greenhouses for detention. Will they escape the clutches of the deadly Devil's Snare…or worse, one another?
A lighthearted tale for Halloween, not to be read in the greenhouse.
Summary: The beginning of the end: ten short scenes from October, 1981.
Summary: A question. An answer. Hermione reconsiders her relationship with Draco Malfoy.
Summary: Oliver Wood has just destroyed dinner and begs his Muggle neighbor for help. She's a natural in the kitchen, and Oliver is attracted to both her culinary skills and her quick wit. When he reveals a bit more than he had planned, he in turns gets a bit more than he could have ever imagined. Is his pretty Muggle chef all she seems—or something else entirely?
Summary: I cannot see their bodies, buried beneath the ruins of their life together, but I know they are there. I can imagine their green and hazel eyes, staring into the dark emptiness. It is all I can do to stay upright, filled with equal parts rage and grief as I gaze unseeing at the heartbreaking scene.
How did it come to this?
Summary: Scorpius Malfoy is celebrating the end of seventh year when he runs into a former girlfriend. She brings him over to the Gryffindor table, where he finally interacts with someone he's been watching for a while, someone he thinks about far too often. Their interaction and future plans give him hope, but the night ends with a crushing reminder that he wants someone he cannot have.
Summary: Ginny goes into labor, but an unexpected setback strands her and Harry at home, where their third child is born to two brothers who are not impressed.

Disclaimer: We are not JK Rowling. If we had been, then there'd be far more stories about the Marauders in print.
This story is dedicated to our flist - especially the lovely Natalie (hestiajones). Enjoy!
Thanks for the on-the-hoof beta job, hestiajones.
Giddling madly, our story has been nominated for a 2011 QSQ for 'Best Darn Story Ever On The Archives' - okay, I mean Best HumoUr.
Summary: When Sirius's plans for Hogsmeade backfire, he ends up taking Lily Evans to Madam Puddifoot's instead, only to find James is not at all happy to see them sharing a tart. And when James's date kisses Sirius, Lily storms off as well, leaving him on the floor covered in chocolate. Yet things are even more complicated than they seem…
This is Gmariam of Ravenclaw writing for the 2011 Aprils Fools' Day Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt 3, Marauder Era.
Summary: A stormy summer night leads to a steamy liason between two lost souls.
Summary: A lonely figure walks down the street, long auburn hair trailing behind her in the blustery wind. She pulls a red wool coat snug around her, gloved hands tucked into pockets as she wanders the sidewalk, glancing up at the shop fronts. She is young, but her face is lined with sadness, as if searching for something she has lost. Her green eyes long for answers.
Across the way a young man stops and stares at the woman in the red coat, hardly daring to believe it might be her. And yet as she turns and walks back up the street, he knows it is, and his heart stops beating for a moment. He blinks, just to see if she will disappear from his life once more, like she did over a year ago.
Summary: It's Valentine's Day, seventh year, and James Potter is determined to make it one to remember. Unfortunately, so many things go wrong that Lily Evans will probably remember it for all the wrong reasons.
